Fernandina Beach, FL to Stuart, FL. Nov 5- Nov 21, 2017

Fernandina Beach, FL to Stuart, FL. Nov 5- Nov 21, 2017

Our next stop was St Augustine, a very historic and lively city.  The mooring field is in the
downtown district by The Bridge of Lions.  Ours is the little boat center, front row.

Always a friendly group of sailors here wanting to conserve propane and go out to dinner!

After a few days back on the "Blue Highway" we stopped at Eau Gallie/ Melbourne Beach area to try a restaurant recommended by a friend- Squidlips.  Had a nice dinner and then danced the night away with a wonderful "jam band"!

We always stop in Vero Beach to rest and reprovision.  The city runs a free bus with a convenient stop at the marina. We tied up with some friends from Rock Hall, one who recently converted to a trawler.

Had a lot of rain, but that didn't stop the Cruiser Happy Hour!

Had to catch up on some laundry-

And get some supplies for our 3 month stay in the Bahamas!

Then on to Stuart, up the St Lucie River. We were lucky to be there Sunday for the Farmers Market and free downtown Riverwalk concert!  Trying out our new shade hats we purchased at the market.

Next up- moving to West Palm Beach and waiting for a weather window to cross to West End, Grand Bahama.
